The Lake House

.

Kate Forster is moving out from her lake glass house. She is a doctor moving to a new flat in the center of the Chicago. Alex Wyler - a young architect - is the new owner of the lake house. Alex and Kate are maintaining a correspondence, talking about the house matters, sending each other letters via the lake house's letter box. But a strange thing is happening as they find out that the letter box is working as a kind of time communication channel, between the year 2004, where Alex's living, and 2006, the year that Kate's actually living. Most fashion mistakes are easily avoided by a quick glance in the mirror. So take a few minutes to attend to these fashion details. Why spoil your look when looking great is nearly as easy?

1. High collars shortens necks.
2. A short necklace can shorten your neck.
3. A scarf or belt that hangs down toward the legs will make the legs appear longer.
4. Knitted texture, lace, floras, prints, and plaids can assist in creating an illusion.
5. Thicker vertical lines in plaids lengthens and slims.
6. Wear a larger print where you want people to look and smaller print where you do not want them to look.
7. An all over print can camouflage figure problems, but prints here and there can create a fuller you.
8. Prints around the neck and over the shoulder can make your shoulders appear wider.
9. Just wear prints near the parts of your figure's assets, because they are usually more eye catching than a solid color.
10. When buying pants be sure they fit well. Defects are emphasized in a pair of pants that may go unnoticed in a skirt.
11. Thinner fabrics are more slimming.
12. Tops and bottoms of one color will make you look thinner.
13. Wearing too large clothes will exaggerate your figure not hide it.
14. Avoid belts unless you have a slim waist.
15. Use accessories carefully.
16. Do invest in gold stiletto sandals, they look great with a tan and will never go out of style.
17. Unless you don't mind getting rid of certain items every season, stay away from overly trendy pieces when shopping for your basic wardrobe.
18. Don't pick everything you see in magazines. Pick what looks and feels better on you.
19. Wear what's right for your body type and don't be a slave to fashion
20. Your wardrobe should show your personality, not the personality of the store's salesperson.
21. Pick one body part and flaunt it. It’s not wise to expose everything at the same time. (& It’s much sexier to leave a little to the imagination).
22. Do get a fake tan (It's the most must-have accessory).
23. Perfectly matching accessories to a dress can be too much if the colors are too bright.
24. Don't waste your money on clothes that make you look pale, sallow or washed out as a hot pink that you saw on the runways may look fabulous on the models, but horrible on you.
25. If it doesn't fit .. don't wear it (shop by fit not by size).
26. Don't wear a T-shirt that's so tight it gives you back fat! (So true).
27. You'll look taller and trimmer by matching the color of your hose to your shoes and your hem.
28. Make sure your bra fits properly. If it rides up in back, slips of the shoulders, or lets your breasts sag instead of offering support, then it's time to seek professional help.
29. Invest in one great classic piece, rather than lots of trendy stuff.
30. Create the illusion of longer, thinner legs with a skinny heel.

Mixing and matching is a personal choice, you create your very own style!

White
A popular color in Fashion. Light and neutral, it goes well with any color.

Considered a summer color(بما إنني ما اعترف بفصل الشتا ولا أحبه وبما ان اللون الأبيض لوني المفضل), a good choice for tops. Always have some in your wardrobe. It readily matches bottoms of any color; a pair of Blue denim jeans, Khakis pants, a Pink skirt, a bright colorful beach bermudas? You name it!

Associated with cleanliness and purity, innocence and gentleness…, it gives you a feeling of freedom. Women just always look that lovely in their snowy White wedding gown, don’t they?

Tips: add a little touch of White to brighten or lighten up your mood Eg. a White tank top with Blue denim jean, White cotton jacket over a hot Pink velour smocked baby doll dress or a simply all White for a simple breezy look

A popular color in Fashion, always stylish and never out of trend

A good choice for bottoms. Directly opposite of White, it readily matches tops of any colors. Nonetheless, it is also a popular choice for tops, making the wearer appearing slimmer. A great complementary color for accessories like a Pink sparkling evening bag, a diamond necklace…

A mysterious color, it gives you a feeling of perspective and depth. Symbolizing elegance and refinement, it is always regarded as a prestigious color.

Well, there are simply too many colors if I were to go on. I believe you should now have a feel of how matching of colors can be of so much fun? In simple, just play by the color rules:

1. Hot goes with cool (match Yellow with Green or Blue not with Red, it might be too hot!)

2. Use neutral colors to draw the looks together (White, Gray, Beige and Black are good neutral colors)

3. Play around with color of the same family (Pink with Orange, Sky Blue with Navy Blue…)

Remember, you create your very own style, so you don't really have to go by the rules. Have fun!

This was an issue that bothered me alot as a teenager, I used to think that I'm not my mom's favourite kid & that she loves my older sister much much more, although I was my father's dallou3a but I guess that didn't satisfy me.

يوم عادي في حياة مواطن ومواطنة من دول الخليج "الكويت تحديدا" في شرم الشيخ والذي يبدأ حوالي الساعة التاسعة صباحا وينتهي حوالي الساعة الواحدة بعد منتصف الليل، حيث أننا دياي وننام مبجر عشان نلحق على البحر الصبح أهدا

لما رحنا نحجز التذاكر في منتصف شهر يوليو قال لنا لا تحاتون راح نحصل تذاكر أكيييييييييد .. شنو هالثقة؟!؟

لما نتصل فيه يقول لا تحاتون خلاص الحجزعلى الويتينج ليست .. أوكي

ولما قرب الموعد الحجز كان لا يزال على الويتينج ليست .. يعني نسوي الجناط وإلا لأ؟؟

نتصل مرة ثانية ويقول لا تحاتون .. أبشركم الحجز تحول من حرف بي لي حرف دبليو .. يعني شنو هالكلام يا أخ .. يعني من ويتينج ليست مو وايد أكيد لي ويتينج ليست أكيد .. أوكي ألحق الجذاب لي باب الدار

باقي على السفر يومين والحجز لا يزال على الويتينج الأكيد على قولته مع العلم ان الروحة أكيدة .. الرجعة اهيه اللي على الويتينج .. شالفايدة ،روحه بلا رده يعني ؟؟

اليوم الثلاثاء والسفر المفروض الأربعاء .. والمصيبة الكبرى .. اكتشفنا ان الحجز انلغى لأن التذاكر ما تصدرت والسيد المحترم حتى مو مداوم .. أُف.. قوية مو؟

وأخيرا وبعد مشاورات ومحاولات مع عدة مكاتب سفريات وواسطات في الكويتية وغيرها

سلام عروس الضيع اللبنانية، أهلها بسطاء عايشين الحياة بحلوها ومرها، رأسمالهم الأرض والغلة، وهوايتهم الدبكة والدلعونا

كانوا يزورونها السواح يللي جايين من بعيد

وفجأة وقعت الحرب وحل الدمار، وتعبت سلام وتعبوا أهلها لأنو سلام ما كانت بتحب الحرب لكنها حاربت وحاربوا أهلها ودورت على الخلاص وماكانت تعرف إنو هالخلاص ما بيجي إلا بسنابل القمح وأشجار الزيتون والرقان

وحلمت سلام بالمخلص وطمعت بنتفة بطل يحمي الكل من العنف الخطير

وبالفعل، بدال البطل خلق أبطال خلصوا سلام من الحرب ووقفت الحرب وحل السلام

ورجعت سلام على جوانح الحنين ترقص لنفسها وللبنان ولكل هالناس بهالعالم

ورجعوا السواح وعرفت سلام انو مكانها كان عطول بحلقات الدبكة والدلعونا بعد كل حصاد

Omar's Water Paintings

I like how the girrafe is standing

This ons is my favorite one, I was shocked when he showed it to me

I know he's good, but just didn't realize how good!

I'm proud of you son

this is the most lovely /painful painting I've ever seen

Omar is a 7 year old boy who visited Lebanon twice

he loved it

& when a child says "I love" he means it, coz they're so true, innocent

& so beautiful .. just like him
